21 MILES. ONE CAUSE. INFINITE IMPACT.
Lace Up Your Boots & Get Ready For ‘It’s Going to Get Hairy’ Movember March 2025 ~ 29th November
On Saturday, 29th November, join us for the ultimate test of grit and determination. A 21-mile community march across the breathtaking, unforgiving beauty of the Purbecks. Don’t let the shorter distance fool you. With limited daylight, unpredictable winter weather, and relentlessly tough terrain, many veterans say this is the hardest of the two marches.
This isn’t just a hike. It’s a battle against the elements and a chance to discover what you’re truly made of. We’re talking brutal hills, muddy trails, biting winds, and views that will steal your breath away (if the climb hasn’t already). Whether you’re a seasoned hiker looking for a challenge or a passionate first-timer ready to prove yourself, this march is certain to test your endurance.

What to Expect:
- Marching along some of the most iconic, and exposed, coastline in the UK
- Battling winter conditions that will test your resolve and forge unbreakable bonds
- Sharing your struggles and triumphs with a community of like-minded legends
- A truly unforgettable experience that will leave you stronger, prouder, and more connected
Route ~ Lulworth – Swanage, Saturday, 29th Nov:
Why We March:
For ourselves, for our community, for those who need us, and in remembrance of Will Pickles.
This November marks two years since we lost Will, a cherished member of our community who truly understood the power of coming together and pushing through adversity. Will helped build the spirit of camaraderie that defines this march. As we take on the Purbecks this year, we march in his memory and honour the community he helped create.
Every step you take will support the life-changing work of the Nimsdai Foundation, helping to change lives by redefining what is possible through projects that Inspire, Educate and Protect.
Monies raised from this march will be directed to supporting Project Odyssey, a programme that supports veterans and individuals, who suffer from physiological or psychological challenges, on rehabilitative treks to locations like Everest Base Camp and Mount Kilimanjaro.

After a successful summer march raising vital funds, we’re asking all participants to contribute a small optional £5 registration and entry donation which will go directly to supporting the vital work of the Nimsdai Foundation.

Our Sponsors:
Some great companies have stepped in, again, to pledge their support with logistics, products, and people to help make the event a success. Without their help, we wouldn’t be able to make this collective experience possible.
Let’s Do This.
Dust off your boots, and commit to something bold.
Be brave. Be kind. Be unstoppable.Join us, let’s make this the most legendary march yet.
See you in November.
We’re just a group of everyday people with day jobs and busy lives, doing this purely because we love it. Each time we come together to put this out, it’s a passion project — not a business. So if something doesn’t quite work, we hope you’ll forgive us. We don’t have a privacy policy, terms and conditions, or anything particularly official — this is a grassroots collective built around a shared belief in community, positivity, and mutual support. If you have any questions, concerns, or just want to say hi, drop a line to Hairy MacLairy at support@itsgoingtogethairy.co.uk and we’ll get back to you as soon as we can.
